Melinda Morris Zanoni, Esq.
Melinda Morris Zanoni, Esq. is the Managing Member of The Law Firm of Melinda Morris Zanoni, PLLC, and also is the CEO of Legacy Talent and Entertainment. Melinda has participated in the negotiating, structuring, and closing a variety of transactions valued in excess of $21 billion.
Prior to founding the Law Firm and Legacy in 2005, Melinda was a Senior Executive of RCG Companies, a publicly traded holding company listed on the AMEX. Prior to RCG, Melinda co-founded Avenel Ventures, an innovative venture capital and business development company.
Melinda was formerly an Of Counsel attorney with Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough, LLP, concentrating in entertainment, venture capital, commercial finance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate law representing public and private companies, including Internet companies, satellite television providers, radio station consolidators, and wireless communications developers as well as entertainment-related clients. Prior to her employment with Nelson Mullins, she was a corporate attorney with Fagel & Haber in Chicago, IL.
Melinda earned her B.S. with Honors in Economics and Business from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and her law degree Cum Laude from the University of Illinois College of Law.
Melinda is a member of both the Illinois State Bar and the North Carolina State Bar. Melinda speaks on the topics of "Motorsports and Entertainment", most recently at The Racing Attorneys' Conference in 2010 and "Film Finance" at the Bar Association's presentation "Behind the Scenes: Film & Music Law". She is a Director of Bouncing Brain Holdings, LLC, which produces the television show "Everyday Edisons" and is a member of the Film Board of the Charlotte Regional Partnership.
